I do not think it is or at least I hope not. I LOVE this show, like seriously. This is my favorite show! If it is the end, I will always remember the show because that is how great it is.

I sure hope not- not 2 b d riding r anything, but from a 50 year old cowboy's perspective, Mcgruder is a genius. I sure hope he keeps it going hope and gets the support he deserves to keep this masterpiece going strong- I know Witherspoon is bitching about the pay, and Id like to say John, its not always about the money man, (Fridays actully sucked) same words for for Mr Jackson, I know your a big star, but please stay part of somthing real- I just hope if the coolness continues that they wont make granddad look so gay like his Facebook pictures-that kinda disturbed me. He was a freaking Black hero fighter pilot in WW2 for crying out loud!

You know, when I first saw the promo for the third season, I thought that it might end after the season ended. However, this was before I discovered this wonderful website, and later learned of the boondocks worldwide appeal. I've heard of several rumors regarding the fate of the show after the season ended. The proposed movie for one. All of the suggestions that I've seen on this website is enough for at least four more seasons even if only half of them are ever used. I mean the response is absolutely phenomenal. I don't think that I have seen such a positive response to a cartoon EVER. In all fairness, I don't think that it's respectful to even call it a cartoon anymore. I would call it 'Afro-American Anime'.

i hope aaaron can pull of at least one if not two (and a long-stretch..3) seasons off..i understand this type of show takes a longer time ..its not exactly a one weekend thing like south park or w.e
they gotta have more of huey though

I truly hope this is not the last season of the boondocks. This is one of the best shows on TV. I feel this way cause this show ( Aaron McGruder) is not afraid to touch the issues of black people and the Divided States of America. There is to much going on in the world today, to not have the wisdom of Huey, the ghetto of Riley, and all the insights of the characters on the show. Please Aaron continue blessing us with this ingenious show.

Noting controversial to talk about? For real? There's tonnes of fodder that I can see that could run you through for at least two seasons. TBH, what cripples the show is its time schedule more than anything else and if you're going to be stuck that late, you might as well swing some punches around.
While television is an entertainment medium, the best shows are ones that entertain and educate/inform at the same time. The Boondocks is one out of a few that have pulled that off. Introducing Caesar (carefully) could help the show in dealing with those topics by being an intermediary between the extremes between Huey and the rest of the characters - allowing Huey more dialogue in the process, since people rarely chat with him for long.

It'd be like Matt and Trey quitting Southpark- I think Aaron knows this is the apex of his career and no matter how much great he does it'd be almost impossible to top this perfect pattern he has.
Is the BS of Sony and so forth worth it? A million fans say HELL YES! Now he just needs to say the same words.

The thing is...you just don't know with Aaron. He was hesitant to do season 3....if you remember the commentary in season 2 DVD...he said season 3 was unlikely...but let's face it....Boondocks is the most popular show on Adult Swim. I would at least like to see a season 4 and perhaps a movie of some sort. Doesn't have to be big screen...but a straight to DVD uncensored film where anything can happen would be sweet too. I am convinced there will be a season 4 based off of popularity and demand.

I actually expect a season 4 at this point. Season 3 was really big for Adult Swim and now Boondocks has more hype than ever before. I definitely expect season 4. Too bad it's just gonna take a long time to get here. =\

I am the real Aaron Mcgruder and yes there will be a season 4 We are working on it right now. Those who are wondering...YES!!! Micheal Caesar will be appearing in episode 4 called "California Bois"and if your wondering...YES!!! Katy Perry and Snoop "Doggy" Dog will guess star on this episode and...YES!!! Caesar will drop his first album called "From Brooklyn to Woodcrest". The trailer for season four will be a Jazmine and Huey sex-tape and...YES!!! the sex-tape will appear on episode 9 called "Huey's Wet Dream"and...YES!!! Jazmine will get pregnant and..YES she will be close to her death in labor and...YES!! Huey will bite her in the neck so she can live forever. Yep just like the Twilight ya'll.Oh yeah and the release date is somewhere in fall 2011...and oh yeah the sex-tape trailer will be referring to a mixture of Paranormal Activity and Quarantine so don't get too scared ya'll
