I loved this episode. It was epic. I wish Cindy did more though. Oh well atleast Ed and Riley got to shine with Huey as the star.
I've noticed that Aaron tends to make a lot of references to quite a few things. Definitely an awesome episode. My top 5 for sure.
This was probably the WORST episode ever.

References to the chinese olympics two years after it had ended
Random Kickball story that was never spoke about before in relation to Huey
Huey standing on the field as the crowd sung patriotic music(not consistent with his character at all)

When Huey started speaking Mandarin it totally felt like I was watching an updated dodge danpei...didnt like it back then, dont like it now. This show hitting rock bottom before they bring back stinkmeiner dosent bode well for the rest of the season/series.
I strongly disagree with you KatieMeluaLover. I thought it was actually one of the best episodes of the series.

I was glad Ed I came back. He is an awesome character. Alot of episodes in season two had Huey take a back seat role so the kickball storyline was perfectly introduced and was played pretty well.

I loved the whole Peanuts reference when Riley went up for the kick. It was also awesome to see character representation(Ed III wearing a bullet proof vest) I wish it were there for other characters though(It would have been awesome to see Huey recruit some of the players, specifically Ed III, Cindy, and Ms Vonhousing). I loved all the parts with Tom though. And the Gin Rummy appearence had me laughing.

I've watched this episode four times since it aired and I thought it was one of the more entertaining episodes this season.
I thought I was the only one who thought of Shaolin Soccer when this episode aired. Actually watching this episode caused me to scower the net to find Shaolin Soccer so I could rewatch it, and I can say with pride that it was worth every minute of precious time that I could have spent studying for my finals.
Great episode, beautiful animation.
The animation, the asswhoopin' kickball game and some comments were great.
I think I overestimated this episode though to be honest, but I loved the action when they were playing!
I think you guys were missing the political tension in this episode... the whole kickball game is a metaphor.. man this shit just goes over peoples heads lol
definitely noticed the Shaolin Soccer influence. and yeah, the game is clearly a metaphor for China/US relations.....satire is what makes The Boondocks so great.
I loved this episode. It was well thought out, but it had enough jokes / sight gags to be funny. I'm glad that they focused on the main characters more in this episode. No more episodes where Thugnificent is onscreen 95% of the time. I mean, I loved Thugnificent, but this ain't his show.

The episode made a good point that our children's futures are tied up in China. If they decide to collect on the debt, the US is bankrupt. When the US goes bankrupt, watch out.
man a huge fan to action/kung fu flicks major respect i totally feel you:)))

Yes it is a pretty dope episode, but can anyone explain the US-China relationship. Do we own them a lot?? Whats the political back story??
