"Welcome to the United Snakes..." What went wrong?
I know this is going to be a tough question for a lot of people here (or; perhaps not), but I'm interested on your opinions about why the USA is the way it is today. I mean, 75% of Congress is white (not including Jews), people shoot each other over consoles, the ineffective health system, crime and all that. According to Gini coefficient, the USA is as economically 'equal' as Venezuela! And yet, there seem to be examples of generosity and genuine goodness at the same time.
Was it destined to become what it has or not? Who is responsible and "wacha gonna do 'bout it"?
