white history month??

idk if its just me but im tired of white ppl (no offense) talking about y theres no white history month.....we blacks have one month and yall have 11 months to celebrate wateva u want and yall complaining.? yall lucky we dont demand another month but we lucky just 2 have that one month...ugh that urks the mess out of me. like grow up and lut us have this lousy month. all the hell yall put us threw

Racism is alive and well. But what you see in this thread is not racism, just ignorance.

Black history month was made so blacks could learn and be proud of their history. It was necessary back then because of the oppression. But now a days its just an excuse for egotistical morons to walk around with a false sense of accomplishment, and have the nerve to complain as if they went through any hardship themselves. Having a month dedicated to African American history is nothing to be proud of. It only means that oppression was so bad, to the point where the whole race lost confidence in itself. Which is not the case anymore, there a fucking black president. Now it only opens the door to ignorant pride. The same can be said about the Puerto Rican day parade and all that other bullshit. I say cancel them all, an be proud of your race and it's history throughout the whole year. Giving us a month to do so just makes us look pitiful and stupid.

And stop with the "we are all one race" shit. We're not.
