"you know what robert, fuck you and everyone who live in your household", and, "and its gay" were the only 2 funny parts of this episode. the rest was alil too much. what was ironic is that they singing bout hating niggers, keepin em out of nascar and segregation and what not, but ruckus black ass is tryna get in on their music too. the episode was alil homo too.
You niggas dont have a sense of humor, only the white man has a brain capable of understanding the messages behind the Boondocks. Go back to sucking chicken bones, you niggerboos!
Please look up the word 'Satire' and 'Context' then people would undersatnd how good the esp was.
If you listen to Mr Rebels music, his issue was the attitude of some blackpeople, nearly everything song involved the word 'Welfare'. Ignorance breeds contempt.
LOL!!! I can see that this episode went over A LOTTA people's heads last night! This is probably one of the best episodes I've seen in the history of primetime, adult animation! Take into consideration these facts:
1) We all know the character Uncle Ruckus as a self-hating, Black man. He was funny during the previous seasons of Boondocks; why are so many feathers ruffled at this particular episode!?
2) Look at the Jimmy Rebel character. His music was based off of "prejudiced stereotypes" besides "hatred." Pay attention to what he says at the end of the episode.. Some of these stereotypes Black people uphold (*BET Episode from Season 2, R Kelly episode from Season 1*).
3) Ironically, through the love of racial predjudice and hatred, Uncle Ruckus (who is black), and Jimmy Rebel (who is white) became the odd couple of racial harmony! The same racial harmony that Ruckus and Jimmy despise is being shown as a harmonizing force between these characters! And the sad part is... THEY DON'T EVEN KNOW IT!
4) The bar room scene near the end of the episode portrayed bigoted, white people acting moresoever like "niggers" than the Black people that they stereotype and hate!
5) There was one thing that was on the surface of this episode, negrophobia. It's obvious that the negrophobia in this episode would elicit a strong response amongst many of its Black viewers due to the nature of this episode's language in terms of racial prejudice. What the writer is REALLY getting at is "Yeah, I'm saying this. But what are you going to do about it?" Aaron McGruder is a genius.... He's saying what Dave Chapelle wish he could've said!
Stop eating that bucket of chicken, get out of that welfare line, and do something positive. GET A LIBRARY CARD, AND READ A BOOK...... NIGGERS!!!
Hey! To the people that were offended calm down! He was just telling the truth... Jimmy Rebel is a real person name Johnny Rebel who really has songs like that! Aaron McGruder was just telling the story and trying to educate you! If you don't believe me google Johnny Rebel!
